Peer TutoringStudents see peer tutors for a variety of reasons. Some students who are already earning high grades ask to be tutored because they want to understand course content better. Others seek help in courses that they find particularly challenging or are worried about failing. Through the Peer Tutoring program, you can receive free academic support from qualified peers, in courses across the disciplines. The Peer Tutoring Program provides any BCC student with free tutorial support via three modes:
Peer and professional tutors are trained to lead individual or group sessions in courses across the disciplines. Tutors guide students in becoming active learners and provide strategies and skills important for course success. All students are welcome to take advantage of this support. In addition to helping you succeed academically, peer tutoring also provides extra income to full and part time students who serve as tutors, without ever having to leave campus! Stop in the LAC (L7) or call 778-533 to set up an interview. | Click here for the Spring 2011 B211 Business Drop-In Tutoring Lab ScheduleSpring 2011 Drop-In Study Groups
