Engineering Science and Physics

Engineering Science & Physics

The primary responsibility of the Department of Engineering Science and Physics is to deliver a high quality curriculum in both applied physics, as represented in the engineering sciences, and in general physics for the campus community.

Our primary degree offering is the A.S. in Engineering Science. The Engineering Science program at BCC is a proven stepping stone to a four year engineering degree. The student graduating from our program is well prepared to enter their transfer institution as a junior and finish their degree in two years. We have small class sizes, involved and caring faculty, and provide excellent preparation for student interested in a cost-effective path to a Bachelors’ degree in engineering. Start here, go anywhere! See the information below and the links to the left for more information.

Students interested in pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Physics can pursue a similar path with individual advising from our faculty to make sure their program matches up with their desired transfer institution program.

For the well prepared student
