The Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) provides resources and assistance to entrepreneurial ventures through various types of services. We support these entrepreneurial ventures in all stages, from start-ups to existing community businesses wishing to expand.

  • Score - For the Life of Your BusinessConsultation service for small businesses -
    FREE confidential consultation service is offered for one-on-one business planning and analysis for all phases of small business. EAP has partnered with Greater Binghamton SCORE, Chapter 217, which is part of a nationwide network of experienced business mentors. SCORE, Chapter 217 provides a team of more than 35 local certified mentors and in addition to the EAP staff, instructor and guest speakers provide all needed mentoring for successful small business ventures.   • Client Advisory Group – the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program has a group of local business representatives that meet once a month to offer EAP clients with brainstorming the particular questions and concerns of their small business development.  
  • Mastermind Groups – Groups of six to eight individuals who meet regularly with an experienced facilitator to provide problem-solving and creativity among members in a safe, constructive environment where they can examine their business and activities, decisions, goals and problems.  Group members act in a collaborative, rather than competitive spirit.

On April 20, 2016,
SUNY Broome's Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) hosted the 11th Annual Website Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Four small businesses were honored for developing or enhancing a website or Facebook page within the past year.
This year's honorees are:
