Business Information Management - Career/AAS

Perhaps you aspire to become an administrative assistant, website manager, or the publisher of a company's in-house publications. These business support programs are designed primarily for students planning immediate entry into the workforce and for those planning to upgrade their skills or change direction. All award the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree. If you decide to transfer after graduating from BCC in order to pursue a bachelor's degree, advisors will explain the requirements and assist you throughout the transfer process.

Desktop Publishing Emphasis

This program prepares you for employment in marketing firms, printing and publishing companies, publishing departments of larger corporations, and self-employment. Coursework includes page layout, computer graphics, design and illustration, photography, and marketing.

Office Technologies Emphasis

As a graduate of this program, you will be prepared for a wide variety of business support positions. The most flexible of our degree options, Office Technologies includes coursework in software programs, communication skills, new technology, and further concentration in areas such as office administration, medical or legal support, or marketing.
