| Academic advising at BCC is a joint effort between our teaching faculty and our professional advisors. Academic advising is available to all BCC students pursuing a degree or certificate program. We invite you to take advantage of the knowledge and expertise of our faculty advisors and our professional advisors. Our advisors have specialized knowledge of courses and programs and are the best sources of information on how to complete your program requirements. Students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university are especially encouraged to meet early with a transfer admission counselor from their intended institution to obtain information on degree requirements and transfer of courses. Students are then encouraged to meet regularly with their BCC academic advisor to help them select courses appropriate for both institutions. Please use the information here to assist you.
